I love cooking food from scratch, there is a sense of completion, a sense of accomplishment that I get, along with off course, a really yummy meal. But sometimes we all are really short on time or just plain lazy and need a meal which is wonderful but doesn’t take much time to get ready.
Here is my quick fix for a onepot pasta, which gets ready in a jiffy and tastes absolutely delicious.
Serves 2
Ingredients
- Pasta- Any shape- 2.5 cups
- Milk- 1 cup
- Water- 1.5 cup
- Cheese- As per choice
- Nutmeg (Optional)- 1 pinch
- Black pepper- As per taste
- Salt- As per taste
- Mushrooms- 5-6 – Washed and cut
- Butter- 1 spoon
- Garlic- 2 Cloves
- Cream of mushroom Soup Pack from knorr or maggi (Any will work)
Method
- Chop the mushrooms and garlic
2. In a pan add olive oil
3. Now add garlic and saute, after 0 sec add mushroom and let them brown on medium flame
4. Now add your uncooked pasta and saute on low flame for a minute
5. Now add, the soup mix , milk, 1 cup of water and mix well (Adjust water as per the done-ness of pasta in later stage)
6. Add nutmeg, salt, pepper , cheese and mix well
7. Cover and cook for 15 min, stirring occasionally
8. Serve with warm garlic bread or olive oil toast and enjoy
